Maxwell Stay is a private Vaal River estate in the Sasolburg area, roughly one hour from Johannesburg. The weekday special is designed for guests who can travel outside peak weekend dates and want more space, better value and a calmer stay.
Choose The Villa, The Lodge or The Farm House for a self catering stay with a private pool, kitchen, lounge and bar. Larger groups can enquire about the entire estate for family gatherings, strategy sessions or intimate celebrations.
Stay midweek
Mornings on the patio, slower lunches by the river and space to use the pools, lounges and lawns without the weekend pace. It is a good fit for flexible families, remote leadership teams and groups who want the Vaal without waiting for a long weekend.

Better value, same estate
The special is calculated on eligible weekday nights in September, October and November 2026. If a stay includes a Friday or Saturday night, the weekday nights can still receive the offer while weekend nights remain at the normal rate.
