Maxwell Lodge Rules

We Are Maxwell Stay

Welcome to Our Guest House

We’re delighted to have you stay with us. To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all our guests, we kindly ask that you observe the following house rules during your visit.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all properties. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, and hookahs. Designated outdoor smoking areas with ashtrays are available for your use. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free indoor environment.

Privacy & Multiple Residences

Our property features multiple private residences, each with its own exclusive amenities including swimming pools, pool lounges, outdoor barbecue areas, and entertainment spaces. We kindly request that you respect the privacy of other guests by using only the facilities designated for your residence. Please refrain from entering or using amenities belonging to other residences.

Common Areas

The riverfront and front lawn are shared spaces for all guests to enjoy. The boat parking area operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that everyone be considerate when using these communal spaces.

Fire Safety

Given that our houses feature thatch roofing, bonfires near the buildings are strictly forbidden. A designated bonfire area is available down by the river for your enjoyment. If you would like to have a small fire elsewhere, please request assistance from our staff, who will assess the location and help ensure safety.

For fire safety reasons, the use of candles, gas appliances, or personal heating/cooking devices is not permitted in guest rooms.

Boat Launching Facilities

You’re welcome to use our boat launching facilities. Once your boat is launched, please park trailers on the right-hand side of the property, away from the jetty, to keep the jetty accessible for other users.

Swimming Pool Guidelines

Glass containers are not permitted near the swimming pool area. Should glass break in or adjacent to the pool, the responsible guest will be held financially liable for all measures required to retrieve the glass, including draining and refilling the pool if necessary.

Housekeeping & Staff

Our properties are regularly serviced, and our staff are available to assist you throughout your stay. If you feel our staff have exceeded your expectations, we warmly encourage you to leave a gratuity as a token of your appreciation.

Quiet Hours

To ensure all guests can relax and rest comfortably, please maintain quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Noise levels should be kept to a minimum during these times.

Visitors & Guest Policy

Non-paying guests and parties are not permitted on the premises unless arranged prior to your booking. Any visitors must be approved by management and registered at reception. The registered guest remains responsible for their visitors at all times and must ensure they comply with all house rules.

Occupancy Limits

The number of guests in your accommodation must not exceed the maximum occupancy stated in your reservation.

Common Area Etiquette

When using shared spaces such as lounges, dining areas, or kitchens, please clean up immediately after yourself and leave the space tidy for other guests.

Check-In & Check-Out

Please be mindful of your designated check-in and check-out times. Ensure all personal belongings are removed and the property is vacated by your scheduled departure time.

Accommodation Use Only

These premises are for accommodation purposes only. Parties, large gatherings, functions, or events of any kind are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from management.

Food & Cooking

Cooking, eating, and storing strong-smelling food in guest rooms is not permitted. Please use designated dining or kitchen areas for meals.

Security & Amenities

Please do not share guest amenities such as Wi-Fi access with unapproved visitors. The registered guest is responsible for the conduct and activities of any approved visitors at all times.

Damages & Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage or loss to the property, furnishings, fixtures, or amenities that goes beyond normal wear and tear. Any damages will be assessed and charged accordingly.
